Help: HF comp?

Writing an article about various careers in finance and I'm trying to get a good idea of HF comp at various levels. WSO search has helped but I'm hoping for at least a few more data points.

Anyone with some insight, please contribute. Thanks monkeys!

If you've done a WSO search then you should know that HF comp can vary from $50K to $500K -- and beyond -- at pretty much *any* level. (Obviously excepting star analysts/traders/PMs.)

Well this huge range was the reason I was hoping for some more days points and insight into the factors behind the spread. Things like how HF strategies cause variance in pay and what is guaranteed comp etc.

Thanks for that input though. I have searches and I'm not just telling here.
