HELP: Modeling Test

So I managed to make it past the first few rounds, and now I have a modeling test. I don't have work experience in this field, know a good amount but little modeling experience. I'm expecting it to be a 3 statement model and multiples valuation most likely. I really need resources, what are available? Do any of you have old tests I can study?

This is an "easier" test I feel like, but good to get started if you have never built a model

This is a little deeper

"Financial modeling for equity research analysts" - the book by gutenberg research is a really good resource for a deeper model (book includes excels)

Ultimately the best practice will be sitting down and building an integrated 3 statement model from scratch on a new company - just pull 4 10qs and you can model two years of historicals and then model out 2 years forward on quarterly basis.

Depending on the modeling test, it could be simpler where they just want to make sure you can fill in a few equations to tie working capital / balance sheet drivers on an existing model with some missing elements, or it could be the pod shop test where they give you the stack of reports and filings and ask for a model and view. If the latter, there are a few threads that discuss the best best strategies to succeed on those (whether its more important to just have a detailed rev and cost build to an earnings forecast, etc.)

Lastly there are the paid resources like BIWS and WSO that have modeling guides, but they are more or less similar to the above steps
