HF List

Does anyone know where I can find a comprehensive list of HFs and Family Offices by state? I understand they are difficult to find by nature and that their goal is to keep their investors money “quiet” which is why very few file w/ the SEC (checked the website). That being said, I need and easier way to find a list of these funds. I’m willing to pay for a database within reason (2-300??) and I also have access to a Bloomberg through a local university (My plan is to borrow someone login info but haven’t tried it yet). Does anyone have suggestions as to where I can find this data or will Bloomberg be a good place to start?

OP this right here - you can search by state and will find every single one there. They are all required to file so yea… not sure where you came up with that. Check out the adv part 2 forms (required over a certain AUM and other stuff, which is also relatively low, and will be there for practically every legit fund).

If you wanna work at a fund you gotta do better research on your own than this.
