Wow 30-40 is amazing. Is this actual work only or not including time spent at night thinking over ideas?
For someone talented enough to become a portfolio manager at a hedge fund, MM or SM, you’re always working. It’s a lifestyle at that point and not a “job”. PMs may not be in excel grinding out models, but they’re always thinking about their books and new ideas.
