How to get past screening at DE/C/M
I'm applying to their summer programmes and can't seem to find specifically what is needed to pass screening processes at each firm (for fundamental research/equity roles). If you have any insight on any of the firms, e.g. what they may prioritise in CVs, please let me know! thanks
Generally, good school and good grades. CV needs to be exceptional, either through work experience, club/competition participation or something else (top STEM research/athelete w/e).
iirc MLP doesn't have a L/S summer internship, the grad program does prioritise people with relevant SA experience though (IB/ER/HF etc)
Thanks a lot!! I'm in the UK so things are a bit different but I have strong grades and decent experience, but I have gotten almost no interviews lol so I'm a bit scared.
I'm looking into applying to Baly as well (as I may be able to get a reference). Do you know what the process for them is or if they have internships in the UK?
afaik only Citadel/P72/De Shaw do structured internships for undergrads. Baly has an internship process for MBA students, but not one for undergrads. They sometimes advertise for the odd team looking to get an intern though
Thank you! Any insight on which SMs may do these structured internships? Thinking of firms like Coatue
None in Ldn really. For structured HF programs, it's just P72/Citadel/DE Shaw for equities. For grad, you can throw in millennium too
