How to network with the buy side while working in ER?
Hi, I was wondering if some more experienced HF guys could share how they used to network while they were in SS ER and how did it help them land the buy-side position. (Basically, I am curios about knowing how did you develop them? How much did these relationships help you when you wanted to switch to the buy-side? How did you leverage them to land the position).

Got most of mine naturally through the business, clients, people from sellside dinners, roadshows etc.
I ended up going the MM HF route though, so these connections weren't really useful
