Individual Hedge Fund or Personal Hedge Fund

Hi, if anyone could answer this:I inherited my grandparents' land in Brazil, it is on sale and I'll transfer it to my account in the United States. I am an individual investor and I buy stocks, options (calls and puts) and have an average level of knowledge of the stock market. Mindful of 1.5 M would be more interesting to continue as individual investor or start a Hedge Fund. There are differences in taxes and fees for this case?

As an investor with an average level of knowledge, instead of starting your own hedge fund, it may be more profitable to take your money in cash, make several thousand paper airplanes out of $100 bills, and throw them off a really tall building.

I would strongly suggest that you don't start a hedge fund.
