Internship advice
Hi, currently a sophomore at semi target university. Majoring in econ minor in cs. Looking for advice on types of internships to pursue and advice on passing resume screening. So far I have applied to many, but no luck. I have a low gpa (high major gpa) due to missing a lot of school freshman year(can explain if questioned in interview). Gpa not listed, work experience in student housing, research projects, selective business clubs, and two working econ research papers. Looking to intern at hf, bb, or cre. Any help is greatly appreciated!
Go join a school club or make friends trying for ib and recruit with them, unfortunately you just don’t know what you’re doing and recruiting wise you’re kinda a mess. 1. Why cs if you’re going into finance. 2. No GPA=No interview 3. 0 ib internships-pe/search fund 4.probably no networking
cs because based on what i’ve researched languages like python and c++ are relevant in fundamental analysis(is this incorrect). can you please elaborate on point three not sure what you mean?
Cs wont help you at all for ib. You need to get botique ib internships, but seriously go talk to ib gunners at your school(you said you were at a semi target so there should be a good amount
