Hi monkeys, I'm a senior doing a non-target BBA and I recently applied to a hedge fund for an internship and got a reply offering me a role in their "Business Management" department. At first glance I was a little disappointed, since I asked for an opportunity in the investment research side of the firm.
Later on, I realised I know nothing about this side of Business Management within a hedge fund; a Google search wasn't very helpful either. Can any professionals working in a hedge fund shed more light on this? I've had friends who suggested that maybe it was about Business Development or something client-facing.
