Is anyone else struggling to lock down 2025 internship before 2026 SA heats up?

really struggling to get into processes for 2025 sophomore summer. It’s not so much that I am struggling to interview, it’s that I don’t even get looks even w/networking. Curious what non-div ppl have done here as feels like I’m getting behind the timeline.

Resume:
3.9+. Top target white/Asian male. one nepo fresh summer at a brand name buyside shop, one small HF internship that I got on my own. Pitch competitions, top club, etc

I have nepo I could use but usually those setups don’t teach you anything. I want to get some solid reps and learn something in sophomore summer.

That’s what it sounds like. I’ve only gotten into two processes so far and they seem to go early???

banks already opened.

this has changed somewhat. Many from my school go to top IB/buyside and actually use that to leverage for a soph summer job
