no way in hell this is real. dont trust financial times

Lol what are u saying? It is very clear that he paid the FT to publish the piece. It is a no-news article, it is clearly a paid-for puff piece

He’s definitely not trying to lay low. I’ve seen articles all over. The thing that gets me is that the move really is just the average WSB investment. There’s a ton of people with the same percentage return (due to luck). It’s only a headline because of the sheer amount. Anyone would be impressed to hear that you made $2mn last year from stock investments but there’s a difference if that $2mn was a return on a $1bn investment or a $5mn investment. People don’t use their brain and just fantasize over flashy numbers. In fact the kid literally said he dropped out of his position because he had class the next day. This kid literally has no idea what he’s doing and it’s just fuck you money. I went to USC and trust me he is the average rich, most likely Laguna Beach, frat guy that you see hundreds of on frat row. Just richer. For his sake I hope it’s the last money he invests because the next GME, AMC, BBBY run isn’t going to go this way.
