Is PE necessary for top HF?
Do top hedge funds require private equity experience when recruiting or would it be possible to move from a smaller HF?
Very interested in a career in the public markets, but would rather not do private equity. Would love to hear thoughts!
100% possible. I have seen folks from IB go directly to good / large HFs. Rarer but seen for MBB consultants too
