Anyone have any insight into Jain? Saw something about an inaugural fund but anyone have any points into any senior hires, recruiting?

He got Paul Enright as Vice Chair I believe
Insane Enright got that job from posting on Twitter and being on capital allocators
He definitely got a lot of eyeballs from those platforms, but wasn't he a solid established investor already, before that?
Do none of you fuckers know how to google?
I clicked on this post thinking it would be someone asking some more involved questions based on the various press out about the launch / hires they’ve made.
But nope, sadly just another hopeless bot who can’t google.
It's embarrassing
This is a fund that has barely even launched yet asshat. You think everything is googleable? Lmao.
The answer to OP's questions is googleable.

They’re insufferable—don’t help them. Let them MS me lmao.
Bro has two accounts to reply to himself lol
I’d be interested to know if they’re really going to be the same thing as Millennium or whether there will be looser risk limits, some form of a different style or something. Only ask that since Paul is chairing the l/s team and given his background in Viking is probably pretty contrasting to your typical MM model too. Why would anyone join here if you could go to Citadel / Millennium? Any color is appreciated.
Presumably the pitch will be less competition for corporate access with fewer teams covering each vertical. Less bureaucracy, etc.
As for payout and AUM, it didn't take long for XP to compete with the big boys, so Jain should be similar.
I’m told similar equity risk limits as MLP
By who?
I heard rumors of a company presentation early December
Heard quite attractive comp #s
That’s not helpful. Obviously it must be if they are just starting up and hiring big names.
Would disagree, a few MM launches have sucked comp wise, but yes, at launch, majority are pretty good. Sorry just trying to share info
There’s actually a Jain global info session next week
Curious where you’ve seen this
HH email - received the same
Bump - any updated information?
It's been 2 weeks, son.
Meant updated information from the sessions this week
What is the fund strategy?
Long-Only. Obv
Update: He made the FT today. Has been falling short of fund-raising targets
Tbh this guys ego seems out of this world.. no wonder Izzy pushed him out. Cutting his fees by insane amounts just so so he could say he was the biggest launch of all time smh. Wouldn't invest in his fund if I was an allocator
I definitely agree
Bobby Jain thinks he's Bobby Axelrod
10 vs 5 is quite a gap. Wonder why they havent got to the 10 mark. Ample demand among LPs, also for strong 2nd gen platform launches.
Given the number of sector CIOs and seniors he hired coupled with the fixed overhead (offices globally etc) seems like he needs to eat a lot of the costs out of pocket for a while...especially given how he slashed a ton of the fees.
How come large spins from mlp raise almost the same as he does as former CIO. Doesn’t add up.
The spins and seeds quote max buying power or gross in order to sound as big as they can. Divide by maybe 6 to get equivalent AUM.
