Lateraling from ER to HF at the Senior Analyst/PM Level
I have an offer to lateral into ER as a VP or senior associate. Among other variables, I’d obviously like to know what my career prospects could look like down the road.
Are you aware or many folks that have moved from ER to asset management (ideally HF) at midlevel seniority or above? Thanks.
I know someone who joined a top MM HF after 20 years on sell-side. Also another person from spent +7 years on sellside (VP level) and jumped to a top Tiger cub. So it happens more often than you think.
