Listing GPA / GMAT / SAT scores
I'm pulling together a resume for HF recruiting, and I know many people that have all three metrics - UG GPA / GMAT / SAT scores - listed on their resumes (a guy told me that "everyone loves being able to quickly quantify intelligence").
I have a really shitty GPA (3.1) though from a good school, a so-so GMAT (740 - 49M / 42V), and strong SAT score (1590).
Should I just list the test scores and not the GPA, or will that look conspicuous? Is the gmat score even that good among HF types? While this is probably not the most important thing on my resume, I want to do it right.
That's a strong GMAT. I would say list GMAT and GPA
Curious about this topic, too.
OP: I'd been told you should list 3.6+ on GPA. Also PM'ing you.
To expand on this topic, since recruiting takes place in the fall semester, can the GPA we list reflect our expected grades for the semester of recruiting? For example, I have a major GPA of 3.4, but can easily bump that to 3.5 this semester as I have already completed all of my advanced major courses and only have the easy ones left.
Everything I've read/been told says 3.5 a very indicative cutoff for a lot of these banks, so I'd like to list it if I could.
