LO to HF or HF to LO - which move is easier?

I am a junior person, currently at a boutique LO (with alt strategies, my team is LO tho) with 50BN-100BN AUM. I’m curious, down the road what would be the path that would give me the most flexibility to move to the other: would I have more flexibility as someone at a hedge fund interested in getting into a top long only? or vice versa: someone at a top long only interested in moving into the hedge fund space? I know there can be all sorts of nuances with this so just from a general level.
