Management Fees
Any top funds charge 1.5% management fees instead of 2%? In general, can one say funds charging 2% are considered better funds by LPs than those that charge less?

I'm not in IM but I would assume so - spoke to a partner at a MM PE firm that charges 3/30 (if I remember correctly) rather than 2/20 because of their excellent investment track record - although anecdotal, based on that I would assume (and it makes sense) that better firms can charge higher fees.
yeah bro. You got CDOs run by Blue Mountain charging 40bps. Then you had former SAC rocking 3 and 50. Depends on fund structure and investment strategy
Not a hard-and-fast rule but generally true. Keep in mind that you're not a top fund because you charge 2%. However, an LP may be willing to pay 2% because you're a top performer. There is a difference.
KPS does a 1 or 1.5% w/30% carry
