Merger Arb / Good Tips / Books / Recommendations

To all the merger arb PMs/ Analysts that do mostly that + some equity L/S / Event-driven, can you please recommend me the best materials to go from 0 to 1 in the industry? This is of course to prepare me for interviews, and since Christmas is coming, I'd be keen to read as much as possible to be prepared.

Any good books, videos, newsletters, manuals, posts, etc would be appreciated!

Thanks

I work at a well-known merger arb shop on the fundraising / BDIR side. When I started and was getting familiar with the strategy, our head trader recommended "Merger Mania: Arbitrage" by Ivan Boesky. It's ironic that it was written by probably the most infamous arb investor of all time, but I can confirm it's quite helpful. Other recs are "Risk Arbitrage" by Guy Wyser-Pratte, and "Merger Masters (Tales of Arbitrage)".
