Mid career software credit analyst
Hi guys,
Title says it all. I’m a mid career credit analyst who’s focused on software in my career so far. I’m post associate/ pre MD. At this point, is it worth it to pivot to other industries? My concern is at my level, people generally want to hire for sector knowledge of what you are currently covering. There is no room for me to pivot industry internally either.
What is your concern with software? Feel like the tough market makes expertise even more worthwhile, no?
Overall new issuance and allocation to this sector is likely to meaningfully decline , think paper industry, yellow pages etc
