Somewhat self explanatory but I’m leaving one of the big three multimanagers for a ~$5B single manager. ~3 years of IB, ~5 years of publics experience on teams running >$1B of GMV.
My understanding is base will be materially higher than what I earned at a MM, but I’ll be giving up a right tail outcome on bonus, while getting downside protection (to a degree).
For someone with my YOE / coming in at an experienced analyst / potentially sr analyst level, what should I expect for base / bonus in year one? How does this scale over time?
