Moving from tiny HF to IB?
I'm about to start a new role as a research analyst an fundamental L/S hedge fund (250m AUM).
As the fund I'm working at is small and doesn't appear to be well-known, I understand that to build a long-term career in Finance, I'll need to spend some time in IB/ER/S&T to add credibility to my resume.
Given that I stay at the fund for a year or two and gain some decent research/modeling/trading experience, what would be some realistic exit opportunities?
Or just be very good at your hedge fund job
