Multi-strategy HF Interview
I recently graduated, and I have the interview in a week or so. I don't have sell-side experience. I truly have a passion for investing and the fund's strategies, but when I do mocks with my friends, the feedback I consistently get is "You don't seem very interested in working here" or "Your answers lack specificity about why you want to work at a HF instead of other areas in finance".
How do you guys translate your passion to an interview setting? I have answers for most questions, but what I'm struggling with is the ability to deliver my passion to the interview setting.
Why don't you tell us first what your answers have been such that you seem disinterested? Each why investing answer would be unique to one's background.. my answer as a stem major back in college was probably different than someone who did finance
