FT, post IB summer analyst Opportunities

Is it possible to start in Corp Dev / Strategic Finance for a FT role post IB summer analyst, straight out of undergrad? I am currently at a MM IB as a summer analyst in a Tier 1.5 city (Chicago, LA, Boston, Houston) and would like to get out. I would be totally willing to not make as much as IB analysts make and value WLB.

Would appreciate any advice or perspective on this.

Also, as a side note, what are everyone's thoughts on investments in insurance? Seems like a great gig with great WLB, decent pay.

Bump. I'm very interested in this as well. Is insurance investments a good path to go down? If so what does the comp progression look like?
