Odd question: Monetising Arabic/Persian fluency

Going to be joining a podshop grad-scheme out of school, which I'm pretty happy about. However, in school I spent a good deal learning Arabic and Persian, which I really enjoyed. Was wondering if anyone has heard about ways to monetize this skill in industry.

Cool skill for sure! Most obvious sector angles I've seen on the sellside and the buyside for people who speak & read Persian, Russian, Arabic has been in energy/commodities (MENA crude flows, shipping patterns). Key is finding PMs who trade themes where this knowledge actually creates edge rather than just being an interesting skill. I guess it could be spun as synthesizing primary sources when market relies on translations, building relationships with regional management teams across the value chain, monitoring local media for market-moving developments. I'd imagine there's material lag between publication and information dissemination hitting the tape.
