P72 Application
Hi Guys, couple weeks ago I applied for the P72 Academy Investment Analyst Summer Internship Program, got a mail few days back saying that their team thinks I am a better fit for P72 Academy Investment Analyst Program for Upcoming Graduates, and that they will create an application on my behalf. Till here the mail was fine, what threw me into confusion was what they said after, 'you will hear back from us on next steps by early May'.
So what does this next step imply? Does it mean I am out of the zone where there is a 'thank you for your interest but we have decided to pass your candidacy' mail and into the recruiting process?
Also, what is the recruiting process for P72 Upcoming Graduates.
What is your graduation month and year?
I graduate Spring 24, this was the reason why they said they'd move my application. But the next steps? Why go through the trouble of applying for someone when that person doesn't meet standards?
You don't fit the age requirement for that program. The program you applied to is for next summer (summer '24) which is for current sophomores (graduating spring/fall '25). You will have graduated by then. Thats why they recommended the "Upcoming Graduates" program. I'd wager that your application was attractive enough that they bothered to make the suggestion.
I truly hope it was attractive, I applied in 2022 for 2023 internships, but I was a lot more inexperienced then and all the applications were met with 'we have decided to pass on your candidacy'.

Probs cos ur grad date is wrong, it’s for 2025 grads. 2024 grads summer is in a few months.
