PE to HF route

Spent the past 4 years in pe / majority ge. LevFin banking prior to that.

Looking into switching into public markets now. Any tips for how to ramp up? Subscribed to a few newsletters and reading what I can on the market, but will take any specific recommendations on newsletters, podcast episodes, and resources. Will also gladly take any advice for formulating pitch ideas that aren’t too cliche

Also - for anyone who has gone through a similar transition themselves (ie longer experience in pe before market investing), any tips for storyboarding the desire to switch into public markets during interviews?

Lastly - don’t get too many inbounds for public roles given my experience. Realize some of it is just the market, but any HHs I should specifically target to get intros?
