I have a job interview there for some kind of "summer intern" position (I emailed cold, but they said they usually take on summer interns). They seem to be a pretty good Canadian HF (est. 1991, $1bn AUM, three funds -- long/short, small-cap growth, and distressed)...I was just wondering if anyone can give me more info on the place, or has anything to say about it.

Sorry, I don't know much about them other then that they recruit at my school, for MBAs only, so I'm pretty surprised that you got an interview as a sophomore.
Not well, haha. It was my first interview ever, and I was underprepared. I wasn't able to effectively articulate myself and haven't heard back from them. I really liked the place and the job description though, so I am disappointed. But in any case, I had an interview at another, bigger hedge fund that went well (and I expect to hear back for a second interview), and I have some other stuff looking up.
