Put wrong job location for Megafund SA, should I tell them or try to fly under the radar hoping they don't notice

Hello guys I am absolutely shitting myself, I recently was invited to a final round interview for a summer internship by a megafund in London and I went back to look at my CV because I use two formats, one for summer internship application and the other for FT roles.

I had a prior off cycle internship at a BB in South Africa and when I looked at my CV I was flabbergasted that I accidentally put down London as the location, I went to uni in London so I think I must have absentmindedly typed that in when I was tailoring my CV.

Should I let them know of this error? Would they ask for references because its only an internship? They are going to think it was a definite deliberate lie to make it look like I worked in a tier 1 financial hub when it was just an honest mistake. Due to that I'm leaning towards trying to get by unnoticed.

Finally what do you guys think would happen if I get an offer and then caught out I get my offer rescinded or would they gloss over it.

I think you should try and ignore it for now. When you are asked to walk through your CV ignore stating the location. You would be surprised with how little they might actually care if you dont mention it. Emailing HR would make you look like an idiot imo. Automatic ding. So your best best is going all in.
