Putting investment ideas on resume?

http://howtogetahedgefundjob.com/2009/07/hedge-fu…

The link above strongly recommends a small section on the resume detailing a few top investment ideas. Have any of you ever actually done this or know someone who has? I imagine it could be useful but it's not easy to just stick in 4 extra rows in a resume without having to delete something else.

Thanks.

Seems like a bad idea. What if your ideas aren't that great?

Plus, that means u might need to update your resume as the investment environment changes and depending on where you're applying to.

Stick to the standard stuff. They'll ask about ideas during the interview

I would save the investment ideas for when you`re networking, info sessions ect and even then I wouldn't go too overboard.

I have to return some video tapes.

I've never ever heard of anyone putting their investment ideas on a resume. That sounds absolutely ridiculous. If you're doing a HF interview they'll most likely ask about your ideas/strategies - that would be the time to pitch your investment ideas - not on a resume for god's sake.

I think we have different interpretations. If you're talking about #5, it seems the author is talking about successful trades, not ideas. There's a big difference.

-- I have deleted this account (or tried). If there is somehow posts still occuring, it is not from the original account holder.
