Real Estate Arm of Hedge Fund
Saw plenty of hedge fund (i.e. Baupost, Farallon, Sculptor, and Fortress) with real estate funds. Anyone here has insight on those funds/their strategies? What kind of deals do they do? How are they different from REPE? Thanks!
They are repe, they usually just have a pretty broad mandate to take advantage of whatever dislocation there happens to be in the market. For example take a look at what sculptor holds, it’s on their website, it’s a wide ranging slew of niche property types.
