Recruiting to renege on signed IB SA 2024 for small HF

Hi, I am currently a junior who has signed an IB BB offer for summer 2024 (and briefly put it on my LinkedIn); I wanted to know if it would be a huge no-no to stealthily try and recruit for summer 2024 internship at a HF. I have been contacted by some hedge funds that are holding information sessions in the next few weeks about internships, and I was wondering how bad it would be if I attended these sessions/maybe tried to interview for an internship. I have removed my upcoming internship from LinkedIn and my resume, but my BB internship was on my profile for maybe a month or two. Is this just asking for my BB offer to get rescinded? or has anyone had success with this going about the HF recruiting process just pretending like your BB offer doesn't exist?

I posted on LinkedIn and then reneged. Doable, just keep your LinkedIn activity slim ( no posts ) and only update positions once you’re a couple months in or concluded
