Can anyone comment on this San Diego based activist HF headed by Ralph Whitworth. At one point had $9Bn AUM; recently I think its more in the ballpark of $6Bn.
Doesn't look like they've had the best year (big losses on Hewlett Packard and A&F), but have had successful investments in the past and have been mentioned in articles alongside Carl Ichan, Greenlight, Pershing...
