Renege MM HF offer for a SM?
Signed with one of the big multi managers and starting in 2 weeks, but I have just received another offer from a single manager which I would rather take - what would the consequences of reneging on the MM be?
If this was banking I wouldn't really think too much about it, but with HFs being a much smaller world and having built some relationship with the PM+analysts at the pod this feels different

Yes that was my thought process.. they have 0 loyalty and will fire you anytime, so I shouldn't feel bad about the team I guess

Whatever team you feel better working 2+ years with take it. If you feel better about the SM then screw the MM.
