Screening for Bottoms-Up Investing
If you are asked on how you come up with an idea for shop that focused on bottoms-up investing, can you start by saying you try and understand recent history and current state of an industry? I'm somewhat confused how a bottoms-up screening process works because it seems understanding the industry is a prerequisite before you can start to actually dig into specific names.
