Small and mid-sized SMs with high employee retention and good performance?
I’m asking about SMs in the 1-10bn range. I don’t think the large 10b+ SMs are a good career path and I don’t think that pods are any better on a risk-adjusted basis.
Insane cope to think $10b SM with 10 employees is a worse path than a $2bn SM with 10 employees
Highest AUM wins in SM because all the investment teams are 5-15 people regardless
Your posts are always the least value add in every thread I see, to the point where I think you’re a college student, repeatedly check your profile, and am shocked every time by your account age. No clue who would hire you to manage money.
I’m genuinely being honest. Maybe it comes across as harsh, but i am not trying to troll. I think lots of posts on here are cope “eg - non targets don’t hurt you, it’s all about hustle, or MMPE is better than MFPE because you have leaner teams”. I’m here to tell you in my experiences that has not been the case
