Small UMM PE HF exits (eg THL/WCAS sized, not Advent/New Mountain sized)

Golden Gate, Berkshire, MDP, Roark, Welsh Carson, THL, Jordan, etc. How do these exit to HFs? What about post-HBS?

To the best you have information about particular firms above, please be specific.

I think doable for all. I only have one data point being there was a THL exits ~2 years ago to Baly. I'm at a similar UMM and get pinged all the time for HFs so imagine other people in this portion of market are too. Sorry don't have move but HF land has always been bit of a black box to me.

I'm at a less well-known UMM and get hit up by good headhunters for seats at a ton HFs, thought my "put my hat in the ring" to interview hit rate isn't super high.
