Start Up to HF?
Have you seen this happen before? Let's say people going from a Series A company to a well known HF? Or a large company like Uber doing strategy/ corp dev into a HF?
Obviously nothing is impossible, but what would you do to transition to a HF if you took this route? And would tech oriented HFs be your best bet? Getting looked at by traditional 2+2 recruiters seems tough, so how would you go about it? Anything would be helpful, thanks!
Hey Analyst 1 in PE - Other, I swear if I had a silver banana for every lonely thread I posted too I'd be richer than @compbanker ...
More suggestions...
I hope those threads give you a bit more insight.

Have seen IB --> startup / corp dev --> start up hedge fund.
I think anything is possible if you can model and can spin your story.
