Came across this, apparently massive salaries.
Anyone got insight what they are doing or what comp actually is?

Career Resources
Never heard of them, but they appear to pay bucketloads. Pulling their stats from Companies House:
2023: £343,101,056 paid to 113 employees (£3M per head)
2022: £356,699,545 paid to 98 employees (£3.6M per head)
This is 4-5x the likes of Jane Street, Optiver, HRT...
Technically they're no longer a HF as they returned external capital a few years back. Strategy is largely stat arb focused from what I remember so naturally has a very tech firm vibe there due to mostly hiring quant devs.
How much of a G-Research Culture do they have?
Don't know as much about those guys tbh but as far as I know they both very much live up to the nerdy prop trading vibe where it feels more like being at google or something.
I may not be the best source (know people at G-research and have interviewed at Quadrature), but my take is that G-research is more academic, with more of a stats/maths bent whilst Quadrature is more like a tech company with people from more from a CS background. FWIW, my interviewers at Quadrature seemed extremely personable and smart. The company seems to take things like WLB very seriously as well.
