Tier rankings for hedge fund straight out of undergrad?
Tier 1a: Harvard, Princeton Tier 1b: MIT, Yale, Stanford, Wharton Tier 2a: Columbia, UPenn, Dartmouth Tier 2b: Cornell, Brown Tier 3a: ? opinions ? Tier 3b: ? opinions ?
In my opinion:
Tier 1a: Harvard, Princeton
Tier 1b: MIT, Yale, Stanford, Wharton
Tier 2a: Columbia, UPenn, Dartmouth
Tier 2b: Cornell, Brown
personally would add chicago at 1b as well
Hedge funds care more about raw intelligence and passion than prestige. Hedge fund guys are scrappy, PE guys are preppy.
