Looking for some colour on long credit hedge funds in London and what pay and compensation would be at the VP level. Also how these firms differ and anything on culture.
Names that come to mind: Anchorage, Angelo Gordon, Albacore, Arini, Diameter, Fortress, King Street, Och-Ziff/Sculptor, Oak Hill, OakTree, Sona, SVP. I’m sure I missed a few like Pimco.

There are Structured Credit Hedge Funds, but regardless most of the names listed here also have teams that invest in CLOs etc. I do however think it’ll be somewhat difficult to move from SC->HY Research especially with tenure anyways as the day to day differs quite a bit.
