Currently trying to decide between two offers. I have to choose between a role as an investment analyst/associate at a small HF (~10 investment employees) or a research role on a trading desk at a prop trading firm (think DRW, Optiver, Jump, Akuna). Pay is similar between the positions.
I am leaning towards the prop trading research role as I loved my time as an intern. Is there anything I am missing?
