An analyst at my fund actually went through the TrendUp program when it was face-to-face. Seems legit. Through the program he made some connections and got an internship which I guess made him stand out from the other candidates.

I was a participant in the online Trendup now program last year during the lockdowns.

It's basically 2 programs in one: The L-courses (1, 2, & 3) are good. I learnt more in those 2 months than in 3 years of college. More useful if you're interesting in trading (equities, options, futures) than IB M&A stuff. But that makes sense since it's geared towards HF/prop trading/family offices rather than IB or PE. You need to pass an exam after each level but if you're half smart it's easy. You also get to meet your instructor in a private meeting in each of the 3 levels. If you're lucky you'll get a HFM, but not every cohort is led by one. Mine was Alex who is also the ceo and he was great.

Then if you're good enough (they rank you throughout the 3 courses) you might be offered to join the SRP. That's when they hook you up with a mentor and an internship that lasts for 2/3 months. The internships are in small/medium firms. It was remote but it's a good experience if you know how to take advantage of it. And it looks good on your resume.

It obviously won't get you your dream job if you're not good enough but you'll learn some investment strategy, make connections and if you're lucky gain some experience.

I actually looked into this a while ago and from what I’ve gathered it’s very likely an offshore fund, so no SEC reporting etc. Typical move for small private funds, especially those with a global investor base which is their case.  But actually even if it was domestic, if AUM is less than 100MM they’re not even required to file a 13F, so they’re virtually invisible.
On the other hand, reporting to the typical hedge fund tracking websites is completely optional and many don’t, especially when they’re not looking to raise capital. Privacy has historically been much more important than marketing in this industry.

Regarding their AUM in this case the investor base seems to be made up of private investors, not big institutions, so I’d say AUM is most probably under $1B.

When were you a participant? The dates on these forum posts are off and for some reason all say Sept 15.

I'm currently in the winter 2022 cohort and so far so good.
