UK HF Recruiting
Does anyone have any thoughts on the current state of recruiting for HFs in the UK? One added wrinkle is I would be planning to recruit from the US. Is that even a remote possibility? Any thoughts would be appreciated
I don’t know about the US but the UK recruiting scene is dead at the moment
Is that for any particular strategy e.g. global macro or a trend displayed across all strategies?
Is this hiring trend towards more junior recruitment? Also why would you say hiring is dead right now?

Multi managers make up the bulk of the hiring here. Similar to the US but less seats and less capital being deployed.
