Voloridge today?

I may join Voloridge as a researcher. What are your thoughts?

The major hesitator for me is that their EOY 2021 return was not good (6% for one fund, -5% for another, use search to see). Is their edge going to other firms? Citadel biting at the ankles?

How are morale, hiring, and prospects at the firm? Do the past few years of returns share the story of this past year's returns? How about the YTD returns?

I'm hesitant to invest my time if it's a sinking ship. There are gains to be had on one, but also losses.

Any information is very appreciated.
