What are 'good' returns for someone with a financial education?
What is a good risk adjusted return for a personal portfolio on-average across a 20 year timespan? Obviously forecasting that far in the future is pretty difficult, but if I was to through 50% I would get laughed at. So what number would you say is reasonable for an average person (not someone who works full time on their portfolio) to return? I'm going to ballpark at around 10% real if the individual has a high risk appetite and is in the market for a long time.
