Which Hedge fund am i best suited for

Hey,

Im a second year student at a target university with a decent GPA and good work experience. I am confused as to which hedge fund is best for me.

I like to invest based on a big macro idea and then apply that on a micro level. So i look at a macro trend and then see what is the best instrument and/or company to get exposure to that trend.

I though a MM was the place for me but after speaking to some MM PMs I think I was wrong. MMs seem to mainly do company specific research rather than macro stuff. Im not sure if global macro is the answer either because I know nothing about currencies and I'm a finance major instead of an econ major.

Would really appreciate some help and some suggestions on funds I could work at.
