Will HF managers understand a 6-mo gap on my resume for "taking a break" pre-business school?
Title sums it up. Want to take some time off before business school and travel / maybe try other things.

Time off is basically the reason you do business school, no? We’d rather hire someone who took time to travel and experience cool things over somebody with their nose to the grindstone until matriculation. Regardless, I doubt anyone would even notice on your resume as most resumes have employment dates rounded to the nearest year. For example: PE Associate, ABC Capital (2019-2021)
Thanks for the response. I worry about recommenders dinging me for leaving early. For SM L/S roles, how much of a problem do you think that will be? I can get my current VP to vouch for me but anyone else would be pissed I'm leaving early and provide a vengeful reference.
Even if anyone noticed, I doubt anyone would care. When I screen resumes, if I see someone is coming directly out of school the other dates generally don't matter.
