Would stay away. Pay has been much lower than competitors (around 50-70% less than Optiver for equivalent seniority/performance). On the upside, the hours and culture is more relaxed, and if the US office picks up steam then pay could become a lot better (but still below average for the industry).
Are there good exit opps from maven or is it looked down on
Exit opps are fine. Can get interviews at most if not all top firms. Recent exits include Citadel/Jump/IMC and some other decent shops.
They are currently looking for mid frequency PMs for their prop trading business. I was told this would be similar to a PM position in a MM. Does anyone know more about this? What are the payouts like? I assume, since this is prop, higher than for MM, but lower capital allocations maybe ?
