Apple dabbles in FinTech

Caught a glimpse of this on YouTube and looked a bit more into the card Apple is going to offer.

Seems like a cool idea but can they compete with Revolut, Monzo and N26?

Clearly, Apple is bigger than these banks but it doesn't seem like their bread and butter... they've gone into industries they didn't know too much of vs smaller comapnies and have not done as well as competitors (Apple TV - competing with Netflix and other content streaming companies, Apple Music - competing with Spotify and other music streaming services and Logic Pro - competed with FL Studio, Pro Tools and Ableton Live in the music production software space).

Also, partnering with GS? Aren't there better large banks at the forefront of FinTech?
