Attracting and retaining affluent investors

I received a small book of clients at my current firm. My biggest challenge will be retaining them and attracting other affluent investors. I need help thinking of creative ways to keep them engaged through different events. I also need ideas on things to do in the community that will potentially attract new clients. I love doing things in the community; however, I want to make sure I get involved in activities and events that will help me grow my business. I live in south Florida. Have you hosted any successful client events, community events, seminars in your practice? Please help me out with some ideas. Thank you!
